In addition to its use as a SHEV system, the FIREFIGHTER can be used for daily ventilation and is designed to withstand extreme weather conditions. The application range of the FIREFIGHTER double or single flap results from the combination of its properties and extends from natural ventilation and automatic fire ventilation to room illumination with daylight.
Particularly when combined with the EUROLIGHT lighting system from roda, the FIREFIGHTER ensures uniform daylight, optimum air conditions through natural ventilation and safety in the event of fire through timely, automatic fire ventilation.

Areas of application

Because the FIREFIGHTER can also be filled with glass, it is suitable for use in public buildings where people are supposed to enjoy a clear view of the sky. The fact that insulating glass has a significantly lower noise level when it rains can also be seen as a strong argument for picking the FIREFIGHTER.

The high-quality design, with the possibility of achieving very high sound insulation values, also qualifies it for special purposes such as theatres or cinemas.
The same requirements are placed on the system as on the roof itself, e.g. in terms of moisture, thermal insulation, wind power, snow loads, sound insulation or energy savings. Depending on the design, the systems meet the requirements of DIN EN 12101-2 and VdS 2159. The EC declaration of conformity is delivered together with the product.

Double flap Firefighter

Designs

The FIREFIGHTER from roda is available in the versions MONO as a single flap and DUO as a double flap with flat hoods and DELTA as a double flap with hoods at an inclination of 30°. The single or double flap is optionally available in a thermally separated design according to DIN 4108, which is achieved by rolled-in polyamide webs. In addition to aluminium and PC multi-wall panels, the FIREFIGHTER can also be fitted with insulating glass. Frame and hood frame are made of extruded aluminium alloy AlMg Si05.
The hoods are opened and closed by means of compressed air via two pneumatic cylinders with end position locking in both positions. Vulcanised EPDM profile seals ensure tightness. Our products are made to your specifications and can be fully adapted to the conditions on site.
