LOUVRE WINDOW HINGED SLATS
FRAMELESS DESIGN, OPENING TO THE OUTSIDE
The louvre window HINGED SLATS, designed for installation in vertical façades, represents architectural excellence without protruding into the interior. The frame profiles made of thermally separated aluminium half shells and a synthetic outer half shell offer maximum energy efficiency and thermal insulation. With a choice of double or triple insulating glazing, this system can be adapted to different climatic requirements. The glazing, which completely covers the frame and sash profiles, guarantees an all-glass look and underlines the purity of the design, which emphasises the clear lines of the façade.
External slats
The special feature of the louvre window is its innovative external slat design. Each slat is mounted at the top and opens completely towards the outside, allowing maximum and efficient ventilation. The standard opening angle of the slats is set at around 80°, but can be adjusted between 0° and 80° depending on the requirements and design of the room. This flexibility in handling ensures both optimum air circulation and customisable light control without compromising the interior aesthetics of the room.
The external louvre window from roda is not only an advanced element for natural ventilation and daylight utilisation, it also serves as efficient smoke and heat extraction device (SHEV), a critical component in a building's fire protection concept.
In case of fire, the louvre windows open automatically to dissipate smoke and heat, thereby increasing the safety of people in the building. This function helps to keep escape routes free from smoke, facilitates evacuation and provides better access for the rescue teams. Thanks to its all-glass look, the louvre window blends aesthetically into any façade while retaining its essential function in case of fire.

GLAZING OPTIONS
The louvre window HINGED SLATS is available with various glazing options: You can choose between double or triple insulating glazing to match the thermal insulation. Thermal or solar control glass as well as toughened safety glass is also available for the insulating glazing. In addition, all variants are tested for sound insulation and weathering in accordance with EN 14351-1 and are available up to a total glass thickness of 38 mm to 46 mm.
CONSTRUCTION FEATURES
The louvre window, equipped with thermally separated aluminium frames, blends seamlessly into façade systems and complies with the requirements of GEG 2020. It can be easily integrated into various building structures such as mullion-transom systems, curtain walls or conventional solid walls. Easy accessibility and the option to easily replace slats and drive elements make this window system particularly easy to maintain.
